Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, U.S. Department of Justice Website

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) website provides information on grants and funding, referrals for state and local resources, publications and events, and offers facts and figures on juvenile justice issues. Community-based organizations that are developing or already have community safety programs can find a number of resources on the site.

OJJDP is an office under the Office of Justice Programs within the U.S. Department of Justice that provides national leadership, coordination and resources to prevent and respond to juvenile delinquency and victimization by supporting states and local communities in their efforts to develop and implement effective and coordinated prevention and intervention programs. OJJDP also seeks to improve the juvenile justice system to enhance public safety, hold offenders accountable and provide treatment and rehabilitative services tailored to the needs of families and juveniles.
