This event will focus on renewable energy sources that are available on-site. Using three additional questions to screen the variety of renewable technologies, we find that five of them come to the forefront for use with housing: passive solar, solar hot water, photovoltaic panels, wind, and ground source heat pumps. While only photovoltaic panels for producing electricity are mentioned in the Green Communities Criteria, each of these sources may be worthy of your investigation for your affordable housing projects. You'll want to participate in this event to learn about what's possible for upcoming projects.
