2009 marks the 14th year for the MetLife Foundation Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing, managed by Enterprise Community Partners. This year’s awards program focuses on best practices in providing affordable housing for seniors, with a special focus on green, sustainable development. Many excellent properties were submitted for consideration; winning properties encompass the best in senior services and program offerings, green retrofits, and comprehensive new construction green design and operations.
